How my journey began

My journey as a midwife started in 2015. I worked for several years within the public hospital system, where I got the share in the joy of supporting many women through their birth experience. After many years of dedicated service, and the joy of welcoming my own two babies, I felt it was time for a new chapter.

It was while I was on maternity leave with my second baby, I decided to study to become an Endorsed Midwife. Which meant I could then provide women with care and support throughout their entire pregnancy journey.

Since graduating, and becoming endorsed, in the years that followed, I worked alongside dedicated GP Obstetricians, and other Endorsed Midwives, further enhancing my knowledge and preparing for the next step in my career.

Now we enter my current chapter… Heart and Hands Maternity.

My passion has always been caring for women throughout their whole pregnancy. The pregnancy and postnatal periods form such a huge portion of your journey, and they are deserving of more attention than they often receive.

It would be my honour if you would entrust me with the privilege of sharing in your pregnancy and postnatal journey.
