No two pregnancies are the same, as such we believe the care in your pregnancy needs to be individualised to each family. Here at Heart & Hands I provide care in your home from the very start of your pregnancy.  

As I am endorsed, I am able to order all routine blood tests and ultrasounds required, and where needed provide relevant pregnancy related prescriptions.  

At the appropriate time, you will also be referred to your local hospital for birth.

A typical pregnancy appointment schedule would include appointments every 4 weeks until the 28th week, then every 2 weeks until the 37th week, finishing up with weekly appointments until your baby arrives. Then we begin the postnatal journey.

Here at Heart & Hands Maternity, we know that the journey doesn’t end with the birth. It is the beautiful beginning of your journey with your new baby.

I encourage women to engage with personalised postnatal care for you and your baby for up to 6 weeks after the birth.

As this new beginning can be a little vulnerable and is an important time for family bonding and adjustment, your postnatal appointments can take place as often as you need, and all are home visits.

Every postnatal journey is unique, so your postnatal appointments can be as often as weekly, or as infrequently as you need.
